François Amzulesco / Chief Technical Officer, Terreal

François Amzulesco graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (ParisTech) in 1982, followed by Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique (ENSAE ParisTech) in 1984.

He joined Terreal in July 2002 as Industrial Director and was promoted to Chief Technical Officer in January 2010. He is in charge of the innovation of products, construction systems, ceramic processes and equipment. He is responsible for overseeing projects to transform and optimise the industrial footprint of Terreal, and to improve the energy efficiency and environmental footprint of Terreal’s production units. He deals with issues of standardisation and regulation on technical and environmental matters. He manages Terreal’s Technical Center and supports all Operational Units to optimise operations, implement innovations, modernise equipment and continuously improve the technical know-how.

François has spent most of his previous career at Saint-Gobain Group which he joined in 1988, mainly in the Insulation Division (1991 – 2002) where he served successively as Project Manager, Process Manager, Production Manager, Plant Manager and Technical Manager.
